History of Bugatti
Bugatti was founded by Ettore Bugatti in the year 1909. Bugatti was with great success in the Monaco Grand Prix and 24 hours of Le Mans during the year 1937-1939. The early Bugatti cars were hand made was with great designs. Some of the best cars that were produced during the time of Ettore were the Bugatti Atlantic, Bugatti T35, and Bugatti T55 Sports car. The Bugatti T36 were lauched in the year 1925. It was not a big success for Bugatti. Although the production of these cars went on for about 4 years. Bugatti has always been trying to produce new cars with unique features in it. In the year, a new car was lauched called as the T40 Bugatti. Bugatti along with his son was building the cars at that time. His son got killed he was with the works of one of their latest car called as the T57 Bugatti. It was a really tragedy for Bugatti Automobiles. It affected the production of the cars as well.
Well, the second world war destroyed their company at Molsheim. And for the same reason, they planned to build a new factory in Paris. But, the death of Ettore Bugatti in 1947 delayed things again. The company was then under the control of Roland Bugatti. In the 1950′s the Bugatti T251 cars were launched under the supervision of Roland Bugatti.
In the year 1963, Bugatti was sold to Hispano Suiza. It was because things were not going the good way for Bugatti at that time. So, it was a better idea to sell it and make some money. But after that it was again sold to Messier in the year 1968. The name of the company was changed to Bugatti Automobili SpA when it was bought by Romano Astioli in the year 1987. He build a new factory in Italy for the production of the bugatti cars in Italy.
