Bentley Automobiles was founded in the year 1919 by Walter Owen Bentley. W.O. Bentley was actually a skilled person who knows how to design and build cars. Like every other company, Bentley Automobiles was also short of money at the beginning. So, Bentley started contacting investors. At last he found out Woolf Barnato. It was in the year 1925. This way Barnato became the chairman of the company. But, the products from Bentely Automobiles were not of much demand that time. Finally, in 1931, it was sold to Rolls Royce.

The years from 1927 to 1930 was really fruitful for Bentley Automobiles. Bentley won the 24 hours of Le Mans during all these years. There was much hard work from a group of people behind this like Barnato and others. In 1933, a 3.5 litre engine car from Bentley was launched. This car was a real success at that time. A lot of people got inspired by the great design and performance of this cool model from Bentley.

Then the factories of Bentley were moved to another place called Cheshire. It was after the end of the second world war. Well, the cars from Bentley were economical and people really loved these cars. But, still the sales were not increasing as expected. Well, in the year 1980, with it’s new model Mulsanne, Bentley came back on the track. There were a lot of variants to the Mulsanne car from Bentley. The Bentley Mulsanne Turbo was launched in the year 1982. The production of this turbo car ended in the year 1985. After that Bentley came up with the Mulsanne S. The production of this car started in the year 1987. This car model became very famous in the early 90′s. Well, the production of the Mulsanne S cars from Bentley ended in the year 1992.

Right now one of the best models from Bentley is the Bentley Azure Mulliner. The production of these cars ended in the year 2003. This is a high performance car and it has been widely accepted by people all over the world.
