History of Koenigsegg
Koenigsegg was founded in 1993. Christian Von Koenigsegg is the man behind it. It was in 1994, when the first Koenigsegg was launched. It was with a superb engine and became famous among the mass pretty quickly. Then cars with initial CC were introduced in the market. Well, it tool three more years after the first development of the first car. It was the CC 85 which got developed as the first car in the CC series. These cars started becoming popular on the tracks as well as on the roads.
Well, the year 2003, was a really a great year for Koenigsegg. It was because, it was in the year 2003, they put records in the Guinness world of records. It is because the Koenigsegg cars were one of the most powerful cars of that time. They were still concentrating on the CC model cars. This time, they were developing the designs and other things for the 2003 model of the CC 85 car.
Then, the Koenigsegg CCR cars were finally introduced after a lot of thoughts and research regarding engines, designs etc. And this was in the year 2004. Things were happening pretty fast at Koenigsegg. It was for the same reason they became too popular all over the world. The engine of the CCR cars were pretty powerful and are capable of producing 805 horsepower. It was in the same year, Koenigsegg CCR cars created world records for top speed for a street car. The top speed that broke the previous record was 388 kmph.
Then in 2007, Koenigsegg came with their CCXR cars. These are much powerful than their previous cars. It has got with itself a powerful engine that is capable of producing 1010 horsepower. And it is a unique car from many of the cars that are available right now for the fact that it works in Biofuel as well.
